Only eagle-eyed Francis fans caught this Easter egg!

Laura has been at the front and center of one of General Hospital’s biggest storylines right now. She didn’t kill Dalton, but Sidwell has the power to make it look like she did, and he’s ready to bring Sonny down with her. With all the recent scenes at Laura’s apartment, eagle-eyed GH viewers noticed something that only long-time Genie Francis fans would recognize.

Laura Lives Long and Prospers

Laura’s (Francis) apartment has been a major set in recent weeks. Not only was it the setting of Laura’s nightmare featuring Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl, who recently dished on her GH return), but it was also the center of a Baby Ace sighting and Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) homecoming.

This apartment has been home to Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Lulu (Alexa Havins), and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) over the years, and the place she built her relationship with her husband. But on the December 5 episode, it was more than just Francis’ on-screen husband in her apartment.

On Laura’s coffee table sat a stack of books, and if you look closely, you can spot the title Star Trek: Designing The Final Frontier. But why does this matter? Because Francis’ real-life husband Jonathan Frakes is best known for his role as William Riker in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Port Charles is Full of Easter Eggs

This is far from the first time GH has hidden actor-related Easter eggs in scenes. Back in 2024, when Sonny (Maurice Benard) had to open his safe, his combination was Benard’s birthday. Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) office has often featured a framed photo of Storms with her real-life daughter Harper. And several years back, when Anna (Finola Hughes) called Robert (the late Tristan Rogers), she asked what he was doing in Wisconsin, a reference to Rogers’ role on The Young and the Restless at the time, which takes place in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
