The University of Arizona campus became the latest flashpoint in the tense aftermath following the tragic passing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
An incident caught on camera this week showed a group of TPUSA students being subjected to hateful language and a direct, chilling threat.
The encounter highlights a disturbing trend of harassment and hostility directed towards Kirk’s supporters across the country, particularly on college campuses.
In a video posted online by Turning Point USA on Wednesday, a group of students staffing a TPUSA information tent are approached by an individual with pink hair, presumed to be a fellow student.
“Hey Nazis, can you set up somewhere where I can avoid you more easily?” the individual asks confrontationally.
One of the TPUSA students responds calmly, “Yeah, thank you, have a great day.”
The situation escalates sharply. “Nah, f*** you Nazi, watch your neck,” the pink-haired individual retorts.

The phrase “watch your neck” carries a deeply sinister connotation, directly referencing the manner of Charlie Kirk’s recent, untimely end, which sent shockwaves through the conservative movement and the nation.
The University of Arizona administration responded swiftly after becoming aware of the video circulating on social media.
In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, a university spokesperson affirmed the institution’s stance against such behavior.
“The University of Arizona does not tolerate harassing or threatening behavior,” the statement declared.
“After learning of the social media post and video, the Office of Public Safety and the Dean of Students contacted the Turning Point USA students and are actively investigating the incident.”
This incident is not isolated. Since Kirk’s passing, numerous examples of hostile rhetoric, mockery, and even celebration of his end have surfaced online, often originating from individuals associated with educational institutions.
Just over the weekend prior, during “No Kings” protests in Chicago, an elementary school teacher was captured on video making light of Kirk’s passing.
She was seen pointing an imaginary firearm at her own neck and yelling, “Bang, bang,” in a grotesque imitation of the tragic event.
The prevalence of such reactions from educators has drawn sharp criticism from TPUSA officials.
“The most vile reactions to Charlie’s [passing] have almost all been public school teachers and professors,” TPUSA’s Andrew Kolvet posted on X.
“Tells you a lot about what America’s children are facing and why TPUSA is more important than ever.”
The hostility has had real-world consequences, with several individuals reportedly losing their jobs following public backlash against comments or actions mocking Kirk.
The incident at the University of Arizona, however, represents a dangerous escalation from mockery to direct threats against students.
It raises serious questions about the safety of conservative students on campuses and the climate of political discourse in educational settings.
The university’s investigation is ongoing, but the video serves as stark evidence of the charged and sometimes menacing atmosphere confronting young people who publicly align with certain political viewpoints.
The legacy of Charlie Kirk continues to be a focal point, both for those honoring his work in guiding young conservatives and for those who vehemently opposed his ideology.
The current environment underscores the challenges faced by organizations like Turning Point USA as they navigate grief, continue their mission, and confront escalating hostility in the wake of their founder’s tragic passing.
The outcome of the University of Arizona investigation will be closely watched as a measure of how institutions address threats and protect students’ rights amidst intense political polarization.
